Well-respected OBGYN group in Southern NJ, located minutes from Philadelphia, seeks additional OBGYN and CNM. This well-established group of 3 has added a 4thphysician who will be starting summer 2022 but they are unfortunately losing a physician who has decided to become a Laborist in Philadelphia. They are also looking to add a 2nd CNM and are willing to look at a new grad or someone with experience. The group does a good mix of OB and GYN and averages about 45 deliveries monthly (12-15 per provider) with the CNM taking 1st call on her call night (1X weekly and 1 weekend a month). The senior physician does a ton of MIS, DaVinci Robotics, Hysterectomies, single site Laparoscopy and many advanced surgeries. He and his partner fully believe in the value of mentoring and will help new hire build his or her surgical cases and volume and for at least the 1st 2 years, will double scrub with the new hire, make sure that one of the two partners is in the hospital when candidate has scheduled surgery and also help if he/she wants to scrub with residents too. They work out a hospital with a level III nursery and all services in-house including OBGYN residents. They work out of 2 offices and call averages 4.7 weekly calls a month and 1 weekend a month. This is a partnership tracked positon and the group offers a competitive salary with occurrence based malpractice, relocation, possible SOB and end of the year bonus. They do 401K with matching, profit sharing plan, health insurance, 4 weeks’ vacation, 1 week CME and stipend, and monthly stipend for car and phone. This easy going suburban practice sees very little Medicaid/Medicare as they service a compliant and educated patient base and they are looking for someone eager to build a career; someone who values their reputation and enjoys community based medicine. This is a private practice and the physicians who are there enjoy patient follow through and the continuity of patient care. They are part of a larger Physician practice made up of Peds, Primary Care and OBGYN. While there is corporate structure, there is not a lot of heavy oversight into the physician groups and they are able to maintain their autonomy. CNM would work with 1 other, each will take 1 night call during the week and 1 weekend during the month, the candidate can be just out of training or with experience. This is a collaborative group where patients rotates thru all providers and can choose CNM or physician to deliver. CNMs do prenatal and office GYN too. Offer is competitive with full benefits.
