Large DMV women’s healthcare super group is opening a new office next month in DC proper. This group provides the next generation of care by incorporating whole self-care in a convenient and comfortable environment which is grounded in the community. They have hired 1 experienced OBGYN physician and would like to have another in place within the next 3-5 months and a 3rd by end of winter 2022, depending on patient volume. This new practice will be a concierge practice or “membership” model and will provide “1 stop shopping” for patients as they offer OBGYN, Primary Care and Mental Health Services. In addition to OB, they will have FNP who will provide Primary Care Services and a social worker who will provide Mental Health services. This will be a ground floor opportunity and a real growth position and they would love to have a physician who could bring patients into the practice. The group is partnered for call with a large OBGYN group in DC and they average between 60-70 deliveries monthly so Doctors will be on call an average of every 13th day/night so approximately 2 calls monthly with your post call day off. This all female group will work Monday through Friday with no evening and no weekend hours (although the long term plan is to offer educational classes on weekends). They admit to a community hospital which has a level III nursery and all services in-house. This is a “bread and butter” practice and the physicians main focus will be on providing quality pre and post-natal care, office GYN and minimal major surgery. That said, if the physician has a special interest or expertise, they would welcome that. Their “spa-like” office is brand new with EMR, all of the most technologically advanced equipment and a dedicated office staff. They offer on-site Lab and sonographer. They are looking for a physician with some experience and someone who is a team player and has an outgoing personality.
