Join busy group of 12 OBGYN physicians and 11 CNMs in private practice in DC suburb. They are looking to hire 2 additional physicians for their practice which has offices in MD between DC and Baltimore. Physicians do not rotate thru all offices and tend to deliver patients at the hospital closest to where they are working. They are part of a larger Multi-Specialty practice that has OBGYN, GYN, Primary Care, Anesthesia and Pain management services and being part of this larger group helps with better malpractice rates and reimbursements, in addition to offering more services in-house for patients. The new hires will be work out of a community-based hospital with a level III nursery and all services in-house including Laborist coverage. This well-established group offers mentoring, low to high-risk OB, lots of MIS and Robotics exposure and easy access to DC and Baltimore. This young and very progressive group is focused on providing quality patient care in a community setting and their collaborative physician/CNM environment allows their patients to choose between a CNM or MD delivery. The group does about 120 deliveries per month and 50/50 OB/GYN ratio. The doctors have a wide range of interests, age and gender mix. They have a good mix of patients as well and have all equipment (including EMR) in their beautiful state of the art offices. They scrub together and mentor, if necessary and meet to discuss and review complicated cases.
