Busy well established group of 6 located a short distance from New Haven in Northeastern CT. This group has NEVER lost a physician and have grown since being founded in the 70s 2 providers who are getting ready to retire from medicine. One of their other more senior physicians would like to stop call too and they are hoping to add 1 and maybe 2 to their stable group and will be offering a ¼ and possibly 1/5 call schedule. The group is well-balanced and does a good mix of OB and GYN (about 50/50 average) with between 40-60 deliveries monthly. They have offices which are fully equipped, and they work out of a community based hospital with a level IIB nursery and all services in-house including 24 hr anesthesia and neonatal coverage. New hire will be mentored as they need to be proctored for all procedures for 3 to 6 months. They physicians in this practice also ALWAYS double scrub on majors and some minors (if necessary). They do a good amount of office GYN as well as MIGS, robotics and all routine surgeries. They also see patients 1X weekly at a community health center for ½ day and physicians rotate. The patient base there is mostly Hispanic so a candidate with strong Spanish skills would be welcome. This is a partnership tracked position with a very stable practice and they would like someone rooted to the community and looking to stay long term.
